HSBC Bank plc is a British multinational banking and financial services organisation. HSBC’s international network comprises around 7,500 offices in over 80 countries globally. To ensure the efficiency of procurement across the globe HSBC needed to evaluate the skill level against a competency framework and provide training to eliminate skill gaps.
Project Aim:
- Review and update by job role the existing competency profile
- Assess skill level across global procurement against competency profile
Outcome:
- Online skill assessment completed by all 1800 procurement personnel
- Personal development plans produced from assessment output for each participant
- Global / regional reports showing current skills and capability gaps
