Nokia Corporation, a multinational telecommunication, information technology, and consumer electronics company introduced an indirect sourcing strategy to a global purchasing team of more than 450.  They needed to utilise procurement e-learning to reduce the cost of delivering against a global strategy.

Project Aim:

  • Design a strategic sourcing process for Nokia Indirect Sourcing
  • Develop and deliver training to 450 global team with Procurement e-learning and Instructor-led workshops
  • Include key stakeholders and budget influencers
  • Build “real-life” scenarios within workshops to enhance training

Outcome:

  • Improved compliance to negotiated agreements
  • Improved purchasing engagement and communicate with stakeholders across the organisation
  • Significant ROI realised – savings made relative to training cost
  • Procurement E-learning available post training
